She was born in Lewiston, Maine on July 22, 1934 the daughter of the late Jules and Marguerite (Thompson) Tardif and had been a resident of this community all of her life.
She is survived by two brothers Richard Tardif of Bangor and Guy Tardif of South Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister Georgette Tardif; and by a brother Julien Tardif.

Tardif- Died in Auburn on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Miss Rachel C. age 83 a resident of Auburn. A Funeral Mass honoring Rachel’s life will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 am at Holy Cross Church. Committal services will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. There will not be any visitation.
