Rina J. Johnson

Dover NH-Rina Joan Johnson of Dover, NH formerly of Lewiston, MEpassed away January 14, 2011 at the age of 67 following a long battle with Multiple Myeloma. Rina was born in Lewiston, Maine on July 20,1943 to the parents of Charles and Gertrude (Corno) Lavoie.She attended Lewiston schools and retired after serving 20 years with the Lewiston School Lunch program, fondly known as the lunch bunch. Rina spent her life serving as an advocate and friend to those living with cancer. She was a very compassionate and determined lady and an inspiration to all her knew her. She is survived by her daughter Wendy and her husband William Bennett of Dover, NH. Sons -Gary F Johnson of Lewiston, ME, and Charles Johnson and his wife Heidi of Auburn, ME. She has four grandchildren Ashley and her husband Jason of Laconia, NH, Matthew Clark of Jacksonville, FL and Courtney and Brian Johnson of Auburn, ME. She is also survived by her siblings: Arlene Krysiak of Chandler, AZ; Marie Lavoie of Mansfied, MA; and Paul Lavoie of Auburn, ME.She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and her BFF Joline Caron of Scarborough, ME She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Gertrude (Corno) Lavoie Many thanks to all of her caregivers at Seacoast Cancer Center, Dana Farber Cancer Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Langdon Place of Dover. Online condolences and sharing of Memories May be expressed at www.lynchbrothers.com Notice- Johnson-Died in Dover, NH Jan. 14, 2011.
