Robert J Poulin a devoted husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and loyal friend, passed away on August 1, 2026. A pillar of his community, Robert spent his life after retirement in service to others and his family.
Born in 1941in Lewiston, Maine Robert was the middle child to George and Gertrude Poulin, he is survived by his brother Richard Poulin, and sisters Nancy Campbell, Janet Campbell and preceded in death by his sister Patricia Poulin and wife Pamela Poulin
A graduate of Lewiston High School where Robert was a standout athlete in both Baseball and Hockey and was considered a fierce competitor and a loyal teammate and friend. The lessons he learned through sports guided his life and lessons passed on to his children and grandchildren
Robert spent his entire Career at Sears, Robuck and Co, 34 years at which time he decided to take early retirement at 52 so that he could spend more time with his children and grandchildren. Robert was happiest when he was outdoors or in the middle of a project from growing a vibrant garden to building decks, he took pride in creating and seeing things through
Roberts family was the center of his life and his greatest joy. Through his love, he fostered a family bond rooted in faith, support, and laughter.
Robert was a loyal and true friend, and he cherished a core group of friends for over 70 years. His inner circle and family recognized the profound importance he placed on personal connections. To those who truly knew him, his commitment to his relationships was unmistakable
He leaves to cherish his memory are his loving children James Poulin, Stephanie Poulin, Christina Poulin (deceased) Michelle Poulin and husband Dan Bibeau, his loving brother Richard Poulin and sisters Janet Campbell and Nancy Campbell and his cherished grandchildren Mitchell Poulin, Nathan Poulin, Gabby Paradis, and great grandchildren Bode, Teddy, Allie and Arik
Robert will be greatly missed by all that knew him, but his warmth and spirit will be remembered forever
