Robert Andrew Sessums

He was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on November 2, 1947 to the late Robert & Opal Sessums. He attended local area schools and graduated from Byrd High School in Shreveport, LA.

Bob worked for years as a front end specialist, as a civilian, for the United States Air Force at Barksdale Air Force Base in LA.

Bob belonged to Free Spirits Motorcycle Club in LA. Where he enjoyed going on many toy runs and just getting on his bike and taking rides. He also was a member of the Amateur Radio Operator (HAM) club. Bob thoroughly enjoyed meeting various individuals from around the world through the HAM club. He enjoyed traveling New England with his best friend Lee making new contacts. Some of Bob’s most joyous times were spent with his Daughter, grandchildren and great children.

He is survived by his daughter, Karen Huard of Lisbon, his four grandchildren (Justin and Tiffany Sessums of Lewiston, Timothy Huard of Poland, Kaleigh Huard of Winthrop and Kolby Lagueux of Lisbon) and his seven great grandchildren. His brother Johnny Sessums of Baton Rouge, LA and his sister Sissy Wilson of Florida.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 2-4 at The Fortin & Pinette Group, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston, ME. A Celebration of Life will follow at 4:00PM at the funeral home.
