

He was born in Lewiston, Maine on March 27, 1938 the son of the late Edward and Emilienne (LaPlante) Tremblay and had been a resident of this community all of his life.
He was employed for many years as a supervisor at Pioneer Plastics then later was employed as a custodian at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center until his retirement.
Roland enjoyed listening to music, singing and loved his electronics.
He was a parishioner of the Basilica of Sts. Peter & Paul.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Claudette G. (L’Italien) Tremblay of Lewiston whom he married on September 23, 1967; one sister Susan Rosenbaum and her husband Bob of Flagler Beach, Florida; one sister-in-law Lucille Tremblay of Lewiston; several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
He was predeceased by two sisters Laurianne Hynes and Lucille Salais; and one brother Bertrand Tremblay.
A Funeral Mass honoring Roland’s life will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Basilica of Sts. Peter & Paul (Upper Church). Committal services will then follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 from 5-8 PM at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred A.
