Rose A. Fontaine

LEWISTON- Rose A. Fontaine, 88, of Lewiston, Maine died Sunday June 29, 2014 at D’Youville Pavilion following a short illness. She was born in Lewiston, Maine on March 24, 1926 the daughter of the late Joseph and Claudia (Cote) Bonsaint and had been a resident of this community all of her life. She married Roger A. Fontaine on November 15, 1947; he died on February 12, 1994. She was employed in the local shoe industry for many years until her retirement. She was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church. Rose enjoyed spending time with her nieces, nephews and her friends. She is survived by a sister-in-law Julieanne Bonsaint of Lisbon; special friends Connie Cyr and her husband Rocky of Lisbon; and several nieces and nephews.
