Stewart W Dunn

LEWISTON - Stewart W. Dunn,Sr. 48, of Dixfield, ME died suddenly Monday afternoon while recovering from surgery and battling a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Greeneville, North Carolina where lived for first five years of life. He grew up in Leeds/Greene area and attended school at Leeds Central and Leavitt Area High School, obtaining his GED through Lewiston High School. He enjoyed playing Pool, working on car models, playing video games and collecting movies. He always took time to work on and replenish is 1995 Ford F150, nicknamed "Red Baron". Stewart worked at Dingley Press until 2008 when he was diagnosed with Cancer. Stewart is survived by his three children, Sabrina Nixon, Belmont Comer, Maine, Cassandra Thuotte, Lisbon, Maine, and Stewart Dunn, Jr., Kezar Falls, Maine, along with his cat, Babycakes of 15 yrs. Stewart was the son of Patricia Harvey and step-father, Edward Harvey. He will be missed by four siblings and their families which include brother, Norman Dunn and wife, Rose, Burlington, Maine, two older sisters, Kim Anderson and husband Bob, Dixfield, Maine and Charlotte Wainer, and husband Mark, Auburn, Maine and a younger sister, Monterey Dunn, Killeen, Texas. Stewart has two aunts and two uncles and many nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss him as well. Stewart is predeceased by father, Milton Earl Dunn, Greeneville, North Carolina. Stewart was a very gentle and lovable person and would assist anyone in a time of need and will greatly missed by those who knew him well. DUNN died in Lewiston, April 19, 2010, Stewart W. Dunn, Sr., age 48 years a resident of Dixfield. Memorial services will be held FRIDAY evening 8:00PM from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son with Pastor Chester Garrison officiating.
