

ones by her side. Theresa was born on July 26, 1939 in Conner, Maine to Eugene and Mamie (Dubois) Bouchard Sr.
Theresa had a very adventurous life. She lived all over the country and world with her husband,
Keith, San Antonio, TX being her favorite. She had a love for helping those in the community, this is
evident by her vocations and her involvement with local organizations. She was a police officer in Aurora, Colorado where she met her husband, Keith. She was an EMT in England and San Antonio. She enjoyed working with children, and would help care for her friends children in Guam and California as well as various other places. She loved being an active participant of the Oak Hill Young Writers’ Club, a non-profit that she helped found, she volunteered her time at club events and meetings as well as being a key member in recruiting donors for fundraisers. She was a longtime supporter of the ASPCA.
Theresa had a love for animals, especially cats, she rescued and cared for so many over the
years. She loved music, dancing, and playing games with her family. Theresa was the life of any party she walked into and had an infectious laugh that made every smile.
She is predeceased by her parents, brother Eugene Bouchard, Jr and a son, Charles Hanks.
Theresa is survived by her husband; Keith, children; Doug Hanks and his wife Brenda, Lois Lunn
and her husband Brian, Terry Raymond and her husband Alan, Linda Smiley and Guy Hanks, Jr.
Her sisters Lestina Pelletier and Darlene and her husband Cliff. Fifteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-children. Special thanks are given to her long-term friend and caregiver, Melissa Klette and her husband, David and her three children as well as, Louise Marinez and her three children.
A funeral service will be held at Trinity Church in Lisbon, ME on Wednesday, October 11 @ 11 am
with a Celebration of Life directly following. Theresa will be laid to rest on Thursday October 12 at 1 pm at the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Augusta, ME.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Androscoggin Home Health and
Hospice or the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society both in Lewiston, ME.
