Theresa E. St. Hilaire

AUBURN- Theresa E. St. Hilaire, 94, of Auburn died "of something” on Saturday April 23, 2016 at Clover Manor Health Care Facility surrounded by her adoring children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was born in Drummondville, P.Q. Canada on October 3, 1921 the daughter of the late Arthur and Albina (Lamothe) Sarrazin and had been a resident of this community for most of her life.

She had married Joseph G. St. Hilaire on June 9, 1951; and he died on March 12, 1994.

She was a business manager of State Roofing Co. in Auburn until 1987 all the while devoting her life to her children and being a loving Memere.

She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and a parishioner of St. Louis Church until its closing.

Theresa had a passion for the outdoors, doing her yard work, and being in the woods was her favorite place to be. She was an avid square dancer and her favorite flower was the daisy.

She is survived by four daughters Adele Ford and her husband Steve of Lake Forest, California, Anne St. Hilaire of Auburn, Carmen Baldwin and her husband Bruce of Westbrook and Rachel Lapointe of Greene; two sons David St. Hilaire and his wife Patricia of Auburn and John St. Hilaire and his wife Barbara of Turner; nine grandchildren Ben, Crystal, Jake, Naomi, Katie, Shaylah, Adam, Brian and Paige; eleven great grandchildren Gabbie, Kallie, Hannah, Trevor Jason, Evan, Ryan, Tyler, Tatiana, Talia, Krista and Giana; one sister Marie Florence Sylvester of Massachusetts; two sister-in-laws Lorraine Sarrazin of Lewiston and Jean Sarrazin of Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three sisters and four brothers.

St. Hilaire- Died in Auburn on Saturday April 23, 2016. Mrs. Theresa E. age 94 a resident of Auburn. A Funeral Mass honoring Theresa’s life will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church. Committal services will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5-8 PM only at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston 784-4023.
