LEWISTON: Therese B. Moreau, 95, of Lewiston passed away peacefully on Thursday April 12, 2018 at Montello Commons in Lewiston. She was born in Chisholm, Maine on May 6, 1922 a daughter of the late Ejide and Emma (Bibeau) Lacasse. She was educated in Chisholm schools. On February 23, 1946 she married Roland Moreau. She worked in various mills and helped raise and take care of foster children for many years. Her last job at the age of 60 was when she worked in a Day Care Center. Some of her favorite enjoyments were spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as playing Bingo, different card games and singing. She will always be remembered for her favorite saying “ A chocolate a day, keeps the doctor away”. And everytime someone told her they loved her, her response was always “ I love you more”. She will be deeply missed by many.
Therese is survived by her son, Philippe Moreau and his wife Anne of Greene, her daughter, Doris Page and her husband Robert of St. Leonard d’Aston, P.Q., Canada, her adopted son, Paul Moreau of Florida, her adopted daughter, Pauline Moreau, her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Roland Moreau and her seven siblings; Louis Lacasse, Marie-Ange Lacroix, Cecile Beauchesne, Rita Bellmore, Roger Lacasse, Normand Lacasse and Roland Bibeau.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to all of the wonderful people who work at Montello Commons that took so good care of Therese. She was always shown a lot of love there.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 5, 2018 at 11am at the Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul (lower chapel) in Lewiston. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church from 10-11am that morning. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Livermore Falls following the Mass.
