Valeria M. Dube

1919 - 2012

Auburn- Valeria M. Dube 92, of Schooner Estates died peacefully on Friday March 16, 2012 at Marshwood Nursing Home in Lewiston with her family at her side. She was born in Lewiston on June 5, 1919 the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Naudzius) Samaklis.

Valeria married Roger E. Dube on September 28, 1946. He predeceased her on February 10, 1993. Valeria worked for many years at Knapp Shoe and enjoyed her work and her many friends. She was a former member of St. Patrick's Church in Lewiston. Valeria enjoyed sewing, dancing and singing, and will always be remembered for bringing a smile to everyone with her joke telling. Her delicious cooking will be missed by all.

She leaves two daughters Lanna Brown of Chattam, MA and Ronda Dube of Sabattus, ME, six grandchildren: Tiffiny, Jessica, Allison, and Melissa, Nathan, and Jonathan, as well as eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother John T. Samaklis.

FUNERAL NOTICE-

Dube, Valeria M. 3/16/2012: A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday March 31 at Holy Cross Church in Lewiston. Committal will be held at Gracelawn Memorial Park at a later date.
