LEWISTON - Viola B. Dehaies, 93, a resident of 27 8th Street, Auburn died Thursday evening at Marshwood Health Care Facility following a long illness. She was born in Van Buren, September 2, 1913, the daughter of Edmund and Suzanne (Violette) Bard. She was a member �of the Auburn Catholic Community, the Ladies Auxillary of St. Mary's Hospital, and in 1961 began volunteering for St. Mary's Hospital and continued for many years. Viola was a member of the New Auburn Senior Citizens and was an avid bowler. Survivors include two sons, Mr. Richard Marquis of Auburn and Mr. Philip Marquis and his wife, Florine of Lewiston; one daughter, Mrs. June Fournier of Auburn; one brother, Mr. Roy Dubay of Portland; and also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. DESHAIES died in Lewiston, February 15, 2007, Mrs. Viola B. Deshaies age 93 years a resident of Auburn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held MONDAY 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Church. Interment St. Petrer's Cemetery.
