Virginia L. Howe

She was born in Lewiston, Maine on October 24, 1931 the daughter of the late Winslow D. and Ellen (Carroll) Moore and had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She was educated in Auburn schools and was a graduate of Edward Little High School Class of 1949.

She married Russell M. Howe on August 9, 1951; and he died on February 26, 2011.

She was a homemaker and a housekeeper at Clover for many years.

Virginia was a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary.

She is survived by two daughters Marjorie Ellen Howe and her husband Neil Brown of Norway and Marilyn Reynolds of South Paris; two grandchildren Shawn Casey and his wife Becca of Falmouth and Roseanne Reynolds of Oxford; and two great grandchildren Clayton O. Casey and Chloe Casey.

She was predeceased by a sister Arlene Brooks.

Howe- Died in Auburn on Wednesday August 10, 2016. Mrs. Virginia L. age 84 a resident of Auburn. Graveside services honoring Virginia’s life will be held on Friday August 19, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Gracelawn Memorial Park with Pastor Eric Hanson officiating.
