

Woodstock, VT- Willard Gervais formally of Lewiston, Maine passed away December 1st 2017 in Vermont. Born in St. Agatha, Maine on March 18, 1932 he was the son Onezime and Mabel Chasse Gervais. In the early years he moved to Lewiston attending schools there.
He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged having achieved the rank of Sergeant. In 1957 he married Arlene Paradis at Ss. Peter and Paul Church. He worked as a carpenter millwright for Local 407 from which he retired. Will was a hard worker and passed his values to his sons. He enjoyed reading, playing cards, guitar which he taught himself to play, traveling and visiting many National Parks.
Will is survived by his wife of 60 years. His three sons Glen and wife Rebecca of Yarmouth, ME. Gary and wife Tammie of Quechee, VT and youngest son Brian of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by his sister Albertine (Betty) Theriault, sister in-law Mary-Jane Gervais, his grandchildren Nathan and Lauren Gervais son and daughter of Glenn and Rebecca. Gary and Tammie's four daughters Nicole Gervais of Portland, ME, Erika and husband Andrew McConnell of Wakefield, RI, Brandi Gervais of Portland, ME and Kaila and husband Christopher Cason of San Antonio, TX. He is predeceased by his parents, sisters Cecile Korytko and Lottie Larochelle, brothers Wilfred and Wallace.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday Jan. 6 at 11 AM at Holy Family Church, Committal will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery with Military Honors.
