He was born in Lewiston, August 31, 1952 son of Richard and Cecile Belanger Giguere. He was educated in Auburn schools, graduating from Edward Little High School in 1971. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and married Louise Chouinard November 27, 1983. Prior to his long illness, Bill was employed as a truck driver for Ryder Trucking.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, stock car and NASCAR racing but especially loved to spend time with his family and enjoyed the company of his dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Louise of Auburn; a daughter, Angela Spinney and husband Michael of Minot; a son, Raymond Giguere of Auburn; his mother, Cecile Giguere of Greene; a granddaughter, Mikayla Spinney; two sisters, Rachel Goding and husband Dale of Auburn and Betty Steward and husband Clint of Greene; his mother-in-law, Estelle Chouinard of Lewiston; four sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Isabella Renee Foley, his father Richard and a brother, Donald.

Visitation Wednesday from 6 to 9 PM at the funeral home. Military services will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the Rosary at St. Peter's Cemetery Mausoleum.
