Zachary Thomas Kelly

Lewiston, Maine - Zachary “Zach” T. Kelly passed away on Sunday July 20, 2025 surrounded by his family at Central Maine Medical Center. He was born on May 12, 1995 in Lewiston, the son of Shawn E. Kelly and his wife Melissa, Carmen Uter and her husband Ramsy and his “ Mumma” Kimberly L. Fletcher. He grew up in Lewiston and Buckfield, attending local schools.

As a young man Zachary enjoyed hiking, riding his bicycle, playing baseball, lacrosse and football. He was passionate about tinkering with his car, taking long rides alone or with his friends, and was an avid gamer. He also enjoyed fishing with his father and sister. He had an incredible sense of humor with perfect timing when you needed a laugh. He loved hanging out with his family and being an uncle to Kolby and Lyndon.

Zachary was a true warrior. Always the protector, he carried the burden of his pain to protect his family. He was brave and courageous while fighting everyday. He never gave up hope.

Besides his parents he is survived by his sister Jade L. Davis and her husband Kyle, and his niece and nephew Kolby and Lyndon Davis. As well as brothers and sisters Andre Foster and family, Alwayne Uter, Keyana Uter, Alivia Uter and Kaiden Uter. Both maternal and paternal grandparents Linda J. LaMontagne, Lynn Moore, Betty Maynard, and Don and Cindy Fletcher. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, along with several close friends who are considered family.

Zachary was loved and supported by his family, friends and many others who were touched by his never ending determination to fight his battle using humor, stubbornness, and faith.

There will be a celebration of life for Zachary on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at 1pm at 147 Depot Street Buckfield, ME.
