Alice Roland Jones

LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Alice Roland Jones, 68, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2012 at Lexington Church of God with interment in Old Gilbert United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Memorials may be made to Lexington Church of God, 1228 South Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29073.

Mrs. Jones was born October 22, 1943 in Lexington, SC and passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012. She was a daughter of the late Levi D. Roland and Elsie Jane Shealy Roland. Mrs. Jones was a member of Lexington Church of God and a member of the Young at Hearts. She was retired from Lexington Sportswear.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughters, Connie Spitzmesser, Tammy Register and Tonya Jones; sister, Mary Mills and brother, Sonny Roland all of Lexington; grandchildren, Christopher Evans, Miranda Evans, Alexis Bell, Dylan Bell, Tristan Register, Haley Register, Joshua Register, Joey Spitzmesser, Bradley Spitzmesser, Zion Gibbs and great-grandchild, Ayden Evans. She was predeceased by her husband, W. D. Jones; brother, Ollie Roland and sister, Margie Vaughn.
