Tony served 4 years in the Air Force before getting a BS at USC in Business. A career in liquor sales led him to open Tony's Party Shop. He was also one of the founding fathers of Zorba's Greek Restaurant and New Orleans Riverfront Restaurant along with other business ventures.
He is survived by his daughter, Maria (Matt) Lashway; his son, Chris Kokolis; his grandchildren: Chris (Kate), Collin Lashway, Elizabeth Bair; Julia, Gracie, and Cole Kokolis; and great- grandchildren, Brady and Penelope Lashway; his brother, Dean, and sister, Kiki. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many close friends whom he considered family.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty, and her parents; and a brother, Nicholas.
A Celebration for Life will be held on Saturday, March 2nd at 3 o'clock at Dunbar Funeral Home in Irmo, with a gathering afterwards at Zorba's, St. Andrews. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting Dunbar Funeral Home.
