COLUMBIA - A memorial service for Barbara Tarrer Gabriel, 78, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Dunbar, Devine Street Chapel.
Mrs. Gabriel was born on January 14, 1937 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2015. She was a daughter of the late Walter C. Tarrer and Catherine Gibson Tarrer.
Surviving are two sons, Chris Orr (Tanya) of Columbia and Jeff Gabriel of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Walter “Bill” Tarrer of Greenwood; three grandchildren, one niece and two great-nephews. Mrs. Gabriel was preceded in death by her brother, Keith Tarrer of Holly Hill, FL. The family will receive friends in the Chapel after the service
