Beulah M Morgan

GREENVILLE - Beulah (Bea) Beck Morgan, of Greenville, S.C., and formerly of Terre Haute, IN and Marshall, IL, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 31, 2015. She died peacefully of natural causes in the presence of family members. She was born May 2, 1924, in Terre Haute, IN to Charles and Letha Hart Beck. She grew up in Terre Haute, graduated from Gerstmeyer High School in January, 1941, and Browns Business College in May, 1943.

On Dec. 22, 1945, she married Doit T. Morgan, Sr. of Marshall, IL. She was a faithful wife, loving Christian mother, and raised her children with the help of a godly husband. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in West Columbia, S.C.

Bea is survived by daughters, Rebecca Spragins of Greer, SC; Janet Zimmerman and husband David of Alexandria, VA; son, Timothy Morgan, Sr. and wife Michele of Greer, SC; daughter-in-law, Martha Morgan of Mt. Juliet, TN; grandchildren, Rachel Nadeau, Bonnie Sanders and husband Jason, Anne Brumbaugh and husband Mark, Ashli Stockard and husband David, Alan Morgan, Adam Morgan; seven great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doit T. Morgan Sr.; her son, Doit Thomas Morgan II of Mount Juliet, TN; her parents; brother, Charles Beck; sister, Bonnie Beck Briner; and son-in-law, George Spragins.

Caughman-Harman Funeral Home of Lexington, SC will be in charge of interment services at the Elmwood Memorial Mausoleum, Columbia, SC. A private memorial service will be held in Greer, SC.
