(Shepherd) Molk on January 30th, 1957, in Kenton, Ohio. On June 29, 1985, Bradd married Cindi Jo (Robson) Molk, his wife of 40 years, at St. John’s Evangelical Church in Kenton, Ohio, and she survives in Lexington, South Carolina. Their children, Natalie Ann Molk and Nicholas Anthony Molk, both of Lexington, South Carolina, also survive. Also surviving is nephew, Mark (Rachael) Molk of Dover, Ohio; niece, Kelli (Tim) Lippenga of Hartsville, Ohio; sister-in-law, Kathy Molk of Dover, Ohio; mother-in-law, Shirley Robson of Kenton, Ohio; and sister-in-law, Debbi (Doug) Sprang of Kenton, Ohio. Bradd is also survived by niece, Kelli (Michael) Hoff; and nephews, Ryan (Samantha) Sprang and Caleb Sprang. Preceding Bradd in death was his beloved older brother and best friend, Brett Franklin Molk, and his beloved aunt, Pauline (Molk) Siemon, who frequently cared for Brett and Bradd as they grew up.
Bradd graduated from Kenton Senior High School in Kenton, Ohio, from The Ohio University, where he played college football for the Bobcats, and The University of Dayton, Ohio, with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Comprehensive English and Educational Administration. With a career spanning over 31 years, Bradd served as a middle and high school English teacher and an elementary, middle, and high school principal. He completed his career as Director of Instruction of Lancaster City Schools in Lancaster, Ohio.
Bradd loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all of his heart. He was a lifelong member of St. John’s Evangelical Church in Kenton, Ohio, where he also served terms on the church board and conducted children’s messages. It was always very important to Bradd to raise his children, Natalie and Nicholas, in church and share with them the love of their Lord Jesus Christ. It was Bradd’s firm belief that Natalie and Nicholas were lent to him from God, and it was his job to teach them how to live a life in honor of God. Every single evening, no matter what, Bradd recited The Lord’s Prayer with his children and wife, together as a family, as he led them through the reading of The Bible.
Bradd was a dear father and dear husband who will be forever missed by his family. Bradd enjoyed studying the lives of his ancestors and honored the arrival of his immigrant Grandfather, Frank P. Molk, into New York City in 1905 from Logatec, Slovenia. In 2005, Bradd took his wife and children to New York City and walked the steps of his Grandfather Molk, permanently honoring him with his name engraved on The Immigrants’ Wall of Honor at Ellis Island in New York City.
Bradd’s life was a life very well lived. His family is at peace knowing that Bradd Anthony Molk is with the Lord Jesus Christ. His wife and children thank God with all of their hearts for giving them a rewarding life and extended time with this beloved man. May God bless the life of Bradd Anthony Molk. Amen.
