January 16, 2008 – October 22, 2026
Forever Loved. Forever Missed. Forever in Our Hearts.
Brelynd Faith Hartley, 18, passed away on October 22, 2026, leaving behind a devoted family, a close circle of friends, and a world forever changed by her absence. Though her time on this earth was far too short, the love she gave, the joy she brought, and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Brelynd was a beautiful light in the lives of so many. Kind to all, blessed with a wonderful sense of humor, and possessing a spirit that could light up any room she entered, she had a special way of making people feel welcome and making ordinary moments memorable. Her laughter brought joy, her kindness touched hearts, and her vibrant personality drew people to her. She had so many friends she loved dearly, and who loved her just as deeply in return.
An honor graduate of Lexington High School, Brelynd was a freshman at the University of South Carolina, beginning an exciting new chapter filled with promises, dreams, and possibilities.
Brelynd is the beloved daughter of Mitch and Denise Hartley, and a cherished sister to Blake, Matilyn and Jenna Hartley. She is dearly loved by her aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends whose lives were made brighter simply by knowing her. To her family, she is irreplaceable. To her friends, she is treasured and her presence has made a difference.
The measure of a life is not found solely in the years lived, but in the hearts touched, the kindness shared, and the love left behind. By that measure, Brelynd’s life was immeasurably meaningful. Though her time was brief, she made a lasting mark on this world. Her light may no longer shine in the rooms she once entered, but it will forever shine in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
Eighteen years was not enough for her family, not enough for her friends, and not enough for all the beautiful moments still waiting to be lived. But no measure of time could ever diminish the importance of Brelynd’s life or the depth of the love she leaves behind.
Remember her for her kindness, her laughter, her vibrant spirit, and the extraordinary love she shared with the world.
Rest peacefully in the embrace of God, our dear Brelynd. You are loved beyond words, will be missed beyond measure, and will remain a part of our hearts forever.
