LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Brenda Barker Caudle Furtick, 71, will be at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2014 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with interment in Bush River Memorial Garden Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
Mrs. Furtick was born on November 14, 1942 in Greensboro NC and passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014. She is the daughter of the late Falvey Tolbert Barker and Ila Whitlock Barker. She retired from Lexington County as an assistant to the County Administrator.
Surviving are her husband, George Marvin Furtick of Lexington; sons, Wesley Dale (Lynda) Caudle of Lexington, Raymond Brent Caudle (Kathy Taylor) of Gilbert; grandson, Christopher Samuel Caudle of Lexington; brother, Steve Colon Barker of Greensboro; step sons, Stephen William Furtick of Lakeworth, FL and Richard Marvin (Susan) Furtick of Powder Springs, GA. She is predeceased by her parents and her first husband Raymond Odell Caudle.
