

LEXINGTON – Carrie Still, 45, of Lexington, South Carolina passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015 after a valiant 10 year fight against breast cancer. Her courage, strength and faith during her battle were an inspiration to those who knew her.
She was born February 7, 1970 in Greensburg, PA to Bruce J. Schramm and Mary Alice Ryan Blackburn. She graduated from Clemson University with a double major in German and Marketing and was a member of the Alpha Delta Phi sorority. She had a career in sales, primarily pharmaceutical sales at GlaxoSmithKline, before transitioning to a full-time stay at home mom. She was actively involved in her community including being a school improvement council member, an officer for the Junior Woman’s League of Lexington and a small group leader and member of Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church. Carrie is survived by her devoted husband of 18 years, Berry, and their two children, Taylor and Connor. She is also survived by her parents, Bruce Schramm (Kathryn) and Mary Alice Blackburn (Doug) and her sister, Lisa Gannon (Ray) and brothers, Jonathon Bayat (Yulia) and Ben Bayat (Meg). She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was loved.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church with interment in Woodridge Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Carrie’s memory be given to the South Carolina Oncology Association (SCOA) Cares Foundation to the attention of Candy Coey at 166 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, SC 29210.
