PELION – Funeral services for Charles W. “Buddy” Day, Sr. 75, of Pelion, SC will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Crossroad World Outreach Center with entombment in Southland Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Midlands Dixie Youth Baseball Complex, 2768 Fish Hatchery Rd. West Columbia, SC 29172. Charles was born September 4, 1942 in Gilbert, SC and passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017. He was a member of Trinity Assembly. Surviving is his daughter, Amanda Polk (Steve); sons, Randall Day and Tim Lorick; grandchildren, Jennifer Brown (Chris), Stevie, Amy, Lanie and Carlie Day; great-grandchildren, Isiah M. Day, William Blake Brown, Malachi, Alayna and Madalyn Smith; sisters, Faye Frye and Jeannett Douglas and brother, Eric Keisler. He was predeceased by his wife, Carol Landis Day; sons, Charles Stephen Day, Jr. and Billy Day; mother, Viola Keisler, sister, Jewel Huntington and brothers, Russell and Dwight Day.
