LEXINGTON – Charlie D. Mengedoht, 33, of Lexington, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018. Charlie was a loving father; husband, brother, son, and friend. He was the most giving, caring, and selfless person to anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a devoted Territory Manager at Hills Machinery and gave his heart and soul to his company, co-workers and mostly his customers. Charlie was one of a kind and the world is a lesser place without him.
He was born in Columbia, SC to Lanville H. Mengedoht and Shasta Goins Mengedoht on March 12, 1984. Surviving are his wife, Shannon Woodcock Mengedoht; sons, Cayden Charles and Tanner Lanville Mengedoht; brother, John Harley Mengedoht (Jessica Leas) grandparents, Bill and Lottie Skeeto and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lanville Henry Mengedoht and Hazel Porter Mengedoht and his father-in-law, Scott R. Woodcock.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
