Mrs. Shuler was born February 24, 1948 in Blytheville, AR. She is the daughter of the late Everett Bullard and Susie Crafton. Charlotte was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She was generous in spirit and an inspiration to many. She always put others first, especially her family, as she modeled Christian values. At the age of 54, she realized that she could continue taking care of others even though her own children had left the house. Charlotte attended Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College and earned her Associates Degree in Nursing. She was employed as a Registered Nurse and found that her passion was being a hospice nurse. In that role, she could minister to others in times of need. Charlotte also inspired others through her creativity and artistic flair. Her artistic talents included being a master seamstress, a porcelain doll maker, and portrait artist.
The family would like to thank Amedysis Hospice Care and the members of First Baptist Church of Columbia, of which she was a member. Also, they are grateful to all of the family and friends who have provided love and support.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Riley Shuler; daughters, Katrice Shuler (Ahmyn Masci), Jongy Shuler; son, Kyle Shuler (Julia); grandchildren, Tyler Adams, Bryce Adams, Reid Adams, Seryhana Shuler-Masci, Djanko Shuler-Masci, Riley Shuler, Sarah Shuler
