COLUMBIA – A memorial service for Christopher “Chris” J. MacLeod, 27, will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2017 at East Lake Community Church, 10057 Broad River Road, Irmo, SC 29063. There will be a reception with food refreshments to follow immediately after the service.
Chris was born November 10, 1989 in Winfield, IL and passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017. He was the son of James A. MacLeod and Catherine Jutte Garrett. Chris was employed as an Application Engineer for a commercial contractor. He enjoyed mountain biking, working out, music and had a passion for cooking.
Chris is survived by his mother, Catherine Garrett (step-father, Andy) of NC; father, Jim MacLeod (Amy) of Columbia; sister, Brandy George (Jay) of ME; niece, Addy George and maternal grandmother, Dorothy Jutte.
Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
