

Cindy Biedrycki (nee Venturino), born April 20, 1971 in Penn Hills, passed away on June 30, 2026, after a short four month battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Douglas A. Venturino and Sandra J. (Matesic) Venturino. She lived with her loving husband Joseph Biedrycki in Lexington, SC.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father Douglas Venturino, her mother Sandra Venturino and her nephew Vincent Venturino. She is survived by her loving husband Joseph Biedrycki, brothers Alan (Carolle) Venturino, Lee (Gayle) Venturino, nephews Logan and Lucas Venturino and niece Olivia Venturino and her beloved cat, Hootie.
Cindy grew up in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn Hills Sr. High School. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Secondary Mathematics Education and her Master’s degree in Education from Virginia Tech.
While shooting pool at the local club in Woodbridge, she met her future husband, Joe Biedrycki. Cindy and Joe married on July 22, 2000 and celebrated a quarter of a century in 2025. Cindy and Joe created a great life together with much love and devotion to each other.
Cindy spent her career highly dedicated to teaching mathematics her beloved IRMO high school students and also at Midlands Technical College. She always brought home fun stories of her students and was personally devoted to their success. Prior to teaching at IRMO High School, Cindy had been an advanced mathematics teacher at Woodbridge High School in Virginia. Cindy co-owned The Dog House with her husband, a local gathering spot in Lexington, SC for many years, enjoying time spent with locals, patrons and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 1 - 4 pm at the VFW located at 424 Cedarcrest Drive, Lexington SC 29073.
Cindy was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins. She loved gardening, growing flowers and had an expert touch growing multiple types of plants at her home. She also had a magic touch at Bingo, seemingly winning every outing with her mother and grandmother. Cindy enjoyed getting together with her friends, spending time at her home and many venues around Lexington, SC.
