LEXINGTON - Clifford Conrad MacGirr, 85, of Lexington, SC passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018. He was born August 21, 1932 in Boone, MI to the late Clifford MacGirr and Leona Coon MacGirr.
Mr. MacGirr served as a Corporal in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked 32 years with Cooper Tools and also worked for the Lexington School District 1 as a custodian. He enjoyed wood working and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila McCarthy MacGirr of Lexington; daughter, Angie Parcheta (Tim) of Lexington; son, Scott MacGirr (Rachelle) of Grand Haven, MI; daughter, Heidi Lynch (William) High Point, NC; daughter Amy Asnip (Michael) of Marathon, FL; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Daniel MacGirr; sisters, Gayla Collard and Eleanor Nordbeck. He was predeceased by, his brothers, Delmar, Howard, James and Terry MacGirr; sister, Betty Blair and grandson, Crockett Davis Asnip.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Lexington with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Lexington, 415 Barr Road, Lexington, SC 29072.
