David J. Bennett, 61, of Pelion, South Carolina (formally of Hillcrest, NY) passed away September 30, 2025. He was predeceased by his wife, Judy, the love of his life; his parents, James & Barbara; and in-laws, Paul & June Niles.
Dave graduated from Chenango Valley Hillcrest, NY. He served in the US Army as a diesel mechanic. He was employed by Dick Smith Ford. Dave loved the outdoors and sitting on the patio with his canine companions. He also loved listening to either a Yankees game, Bills game, or NASCAR race or listening to Clemson tiger football.
Dave is survived by his sons, Elliott Bennett of Pelion, SC and Ivan Niles of Binghamton, NY; a sister, Cindy of Great Bend, PA; sisters-in-laws, Karen (Steve) of Irmo, SC and Amy (Dave) of Webster, NY; and his canine companions, Abby, Hugo and Toby!
At his request there will be no services.
