David was a Marine and fought in the Vietnam War where he was awarded the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. After the war, he worked multiple jobs which taught him many skills. He became adept in carpentry, engine repair, plumbing and metal fabrication. Later in his career he spent his time working as a maintenance engineer. After retirement, he studied taxidermy and eventually became a multi-award winning state-champion taxidermist. He also spent his time restoring classic cars, which was his passion. He restored a ‘63 Stingray Corvette and a‘57 Chevy to immaculate condition. He always strived for perfection and would not allow himself to settle for anything less.
