David Lee Sizemore

David Lee Sizemore, age 64, passed away on September 18, 2026. Born on September 9, 1962, in Harlan, KY, David was the son of Virginia L. Sizemore, who preceded him in death. He later resided in Lexington, South Carolina.

David was a graduate of Harlan County High School, where he lettered in track—an early reflection of the steady determination and work ethic that would continue to shape his life.

Over the years, David built a successful security company, Carolina Specialty Services, through persistence, dedication, and the kind of hard work that earns lasting respect. He later retired, leaving behind a legacy of commitment and responsibility in all he set out to do.

David is survived by his daughter, Heather Middleton; son-in-law, James Middleton; and his two grandsons, Cameron and Declan Middleton. He is also survived by his brother, Charles Sizemore.

Those who knew David knew him as a beloved presence—someone who valued time with family and friends and who could bring lightness to a room with his humor. He also found genuine joy in watching the Kentucky Wildcats, following both basketball and football with loyal enthusiasm.
