She was the best therapist especially with traumatized children. A great loss

I remember many times when Deborah and I discussed how best to help specific patients and mapped out new ideas to help them and their families. She was a phenomenal therapist!!!!!!

will always miss Deb. She was a great source for help and good with patients especially adolescents who had very stressed and abused lives.

Sad but good to finally know. Of course I knew because I felt the void she left in this world. 
It cannot be filled by anyone. She saved me from myself. Say a prayer for Deb.

There are some people that have the title social worker and then there are those that “are” a social worker... a true advocate, healer, mentor.  That was Deb. Deb is the social worker we all strive to be when we are in social work school. 
She touched so many people, changed so many lives.   I hope her family finds some comfort in knowing that Deb helped so many people put those missing pieces back together and she lives through them. Thank you Deb for your genuineness and kindness. 

Deb and I began our careers with Three Rivers Midlands on the same day and each day that I knew her for 10 years, she was unchanging.  It breaks my heart that she left so soon but she will always be loved and remembered. May her soul and spirit have peace and rest. 

I’m sad and shocked at the news of Debbie’s passing! Thank you Allen Lawhead for the info. I last saw her as we helped to plan the “big” IHS reunion several years ago and she took it upon herself to put together a “memory tree” of all our departed IHS grads. I know she worked so hard gathering this info and then displayed it beautifully at our reunion. I am in disbelief that Deb will now join many others on her beautiful “tree”. RIP Deb!

I am very sad to hear Deb has died even though she must have gone through physical hell due to illness at the end. 
I had the privilege of working with her for 10+ years at Midlands Residential Treatment Center for children and adolescents. She was an incredible person and a gifted therapist in helping some of the most troubled and suffering children and teens. She was also a beacon in her advocacy for what is right and needed for children, and at the same time a great friend and support to staff including me.
Her death is a great loss for all of us.

Thank you Deb for your wisdom and support. I will never forget your encouragement and the sense of comfort you gave me when I needed it the most. Grateful to have worked with you and grateful to have known you. 

Deb was my internship supervisor during my last year of grad school. She was full of wisdom regarding the field of social work and life itself. She always greeted her interns with a warm smile. Deb had a great sense of humor too. If you didn’t know anything else, you knew how much she loved her family and how proud she was of her children and grandchildren. Thank you Deb for all you did to help mold me into a great social worker! Your spirit will continue to live on! 

For us Debbie will forever be that cute long haired teenager singing pop song's from the radio!! Such a beautiful sweet thing always! We send our  love and condolences to all of you, Joe and Brenda

I remember a really fun  day boating on a lake in Georgia with beautiful young pregnant Debbie, (with Anna,) and her love my nephew William Jones lll. It was a great day that I will always treasure.  My love to her beautiful daughters who she loved so deeply.
