LEXINGTON – A graveside service for Dennis Alan Gossett, 51, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 21, 2012 with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
Mr. Gossett was born January 6, 1961 in San Diego, CA and passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2012. He was a son of Danola Greer Gossett and the late Asa R. Gossett. Mr. Gossett loved to fish and loved the outdoors. He was an avid Clemson fan and served his country in the United States Navy.
Mr. Gossett is survived by his mother, Danola G. Gossett; sister, Brenda Gossett “Zoe” Poplin (Henry); brothers, Asa Gossett, Jr. (Susan), Keith Gossett and Kenneth Gossett (Susan) and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Asa R. Gossett; sister, Linda Messick and brother, Owen Gossett.
