LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Dewey M. Hallman, 75, will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with entombment in Southland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel prior to the service.
Mr. Hallman was born May 16, 1937 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2012. He was a son of the late Isaiah Hallman and Gurnie Bell Hallman.
Mr. Hallman is survived by his wife, Flonice Shull Hallman; sons, Keith Hallman (Jamie) of Lexington and David Hallman (Melissa) of Pelion; sisters, Hilda Weeks and Shirley Foy both of Columbia; brother, Charles Hallman of Columbia; four grandchildren, Shelbie, Nathan, Ashley and Cody Hallman. He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Kline Hallman.
