Donny was a loving, caring, and generous man that would give you the shirt off his back. He loved coaching baseball and softball, golfing, fishing, had a passion for construction, and a strong connection to Edisto Beach, where he spent many summers vacationing. In his later years, Donny took great pride and joy in preparing his daily group meetings with his closest friends.
Donny is predeceased by his parents and sister, Susan.
He is survived by his sister, Patty (Dincer Ulku); brothers, Robert and John (Debbie); children, Shannon and Adam (Danielle); granddaughters, Emileigh and Lucy, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held for Donny at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023 at St. Martin’s In the Fields Episcopal Church located at 5220 Clemson Avenue, Columbia, SC 29206.
The family would like to thank Donny’s closest friends, Lamar, Mary Lou, and Ray for their love and support over the years.
