Donna was a graduate of San Jose State College. She had a professional career as a writer and editor, and was a long-time member of Lifespring Christian Church in Cincinnati, OH. She was also a member of Women in Communications Cincinnati Chapter, enjoyed events with the Red Hat Society Cincinnati chapter, and was a member of Mt. Horeb Church in Lexington, SC.
She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Lohr of Lexington, SC; son-in-law, Jeffrey Lohr of Lexington, SC; brother, William “Mac” McQuilkin of Eastland, TX; sister-in-law, Linda McQuilkin of Eastland, TX; and many beloved cousins. She took great joy in spending time with her grandsons, family, her church family, and friends.
Visitation will be held at 10:15 AM on Friday, July 18, 2025 at Mt. Horeb Church, 1205 Old Cherokee Rd, Lexington, SC 29072, with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Lifespring Christian Church at 1373 W. Galbraith Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231.
