Dorothy Payne

LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Dorothy Jane Andrus Payne, 77, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with interment in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ at a later date. Memorials may be made to the LMC Foundation, 2720 Sunset Blvd., West Columbia, SC 29169.

Mrs. Payne was born July 24, 1934 in Newark, NJ and passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2011. She was a daughter of the late Julius Andrus and Lillian Lovich Andrus. Mrs. Payne and her husband were very active with the Watchung Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Mrs. Payne is survived by her husband, Richard Allen Payne, Sr. of Lexington; son, Richard Allen Payne, Jr. (Lynnette) of West Hills, CA; daughter, Debra Ann Johnson (Bob) of Lexington; grandchildren, Julie Payne, Chris, Matt and Tori Johnson all of Lexington; brother, Julius “Sonny” Andrus (Irene) of Scotch Plains, NJ; sister, Joan Pawlikowski of Delhi, NY and brother-in-law, Harold Payne of Lexington.
