

Cole retired from Southern Plastics as a Quality Control Manager and served in the United States Navy. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them playing cards, singing karaoke, or just talking about old times. Cole loved cars, country music, fishing, racing, football and western movies.
He is survived by his children, Malcolm (Helen) Hanger, Lee (Sharon) Hanger, Darlene (Larry) Weil, Trina (Stephen) Moore; stepdaughter, Carmen (John) Bouknight; grandchildren, Amber (David) Collins, Mason (Luisa) Hanger, Kristen (Ashley) Roof, Tyler Weil, Raylee Weil, Colby Moore and Kasen Moore, along with other grandchildren and great grandchildren. His nieces and nephews from Michigan also held a special place in his heart.
He was predeceased by his sister, Betty Sue Schmidt and his son, Neil Cole Hanger.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
