Edward Aaron Bigbie,

LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Edward Aaron Bigbie, 82, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral home, Lexington Chapel with inurnment in Calverton Cemetery, Calverton, NY. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2013 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, 119 N. Church Street, Lexington, SC 29072. Mr. Bigbie was born on May 23, 1930 in Howard Beach, NY and passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013. He was a son of the late Charles Bigbie and Bertha Siebert Bigbie. He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Union Local 138. He was a member of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks. He was a veteran of the United States Army and Navy (Seabees). Mr. Bigbie is survived by his son, Dr. Robert P. Bigbie and wife, Mary Beth Bigbie; daughters, Debra A. George, Donna L. Hane and husband, Michael Hane, Diane L. Cummings and Dawn L. Rouis and husband Ron Rouis; grandchildren, Cameron George, Kayla George, Katherine George, Kaitlin B. Mubarak (Jason), Shannon P. Bigbie, Dustin A. Hane, Joseph M. Hane, Jennifer L. Cummings, Christina L. Cummings, Chrissy Sorrells (Josh); great-granddaughter, Bella Grace Mubarak. He was predeceased by his wife, Jacqueline A.
