Mr. Edward Francis Ogilvie

CAYCE – Edward F. Ogilvie III, "Ned", 30, of Cayce, passed away suddenly at the residence on October 21, 2016. He was born December 3, 1985 in Decatur, GA, son of Deborah (Glover) and Edward F. Ogilvie, Jr. Ned and his mother moved to Cayce when Ned was two, and he attended schools in Lexington II. Ned was blessed with a quick wit, an outgoing personality, and a big heart. He was well liked by all who knew him and was considered a good friend by many. Ned brought great joy to his family, especially his Mom. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Ned is survived by his mother, of Cayce; maternal grandmother, Thelma W. Glover of Cayce; aunt, Jo Milling (Boyd) of Blythewood; cousins, Allison Milling Livingston (Tripp) of Charleston; Boyd Milling, Jr. (Christine) of Chapin; Mariah McGuiness of Cayce; Rachel McGuiness of Charlotte; and second cousin, Luke Milling of Chapin.

He was predeceased by his father; maternal grandfather, Joseph Walter Glover, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward F. Ogilvie, Sr.; uncle, Joseph Walter Glover, Jr., "Max"; and his beloved dog, Gracie.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Broadacres Baptist Church. Visitation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Building Fund, Broadacres Baptist Church, 2350 Taylor Road, Cayce, SC 29033.
