LEXINGTON – A memorial service for Dr. Edward O. Oswald, 74, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Lexington United Methodist Church. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Owens and the Rev. Dr. Paik. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
Dr. Oswald was born January 9, 1940 in Newberry, SC and passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014. He was a son of the late Odell A. Oswald and Andrena Thomasson. Mr. Oswald was a biochemist and he was a member of Lexington United Methodist Church. He was chairman of the University of South Carolina Public Health School.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Ann Epting Oswald; son, Bryan E. Oswald (Becky) of Lexington; daughter, Angelia Brazell (Johnny) of Lexington; grandchildren, James Andrew Brazell, Christopher Bryan Brazell and Matthew Ryan Holiday.
