Elaine I. Gartman

LEXINGTON – A memorial service for Elaine I. Gartman, 81, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2015 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the Lexington Chapel.

Mrs. Gartman was born June 23, 1934 in Boston, MA and passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. She was a daughter of the late Armand Bisson and Sarah Fisher Bisson.

Surviving are her husband, Joe Gartman; daughter, Debbie Companion and husband, Paul of New Hampshire; son, Nelvyn Gartman and wife, Linda of Massachusetts; daughters, Donna Chavis, Bette Mauldin and husband, David, Paula Wise all of South Carolina and Sue Keenan and husband, John of Massachusetts; sons, Joseph, Gartman, Jr. of South Carolina and James Gartman and wife, Shannon of Massachusetts; daughter, Mary Dickens and husband, Jay and son, John Gartman and wife, Diane both of Massachusetts; 27 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers, Father Joe Bisson, James Bisson, Armand Bisson; sister, Elizabeth Johnson and brother, Steven Bisson. She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Bisson.
