Elizabeth H. Larson

WEST COLUMBIA – A graveside service for Elizabeth H. “Bill” Larson, 97, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 16, 2013 in Woodridge Memorial Park. The service will be conducted by the Rev. John Trump of St. Andrews Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Larson was born December 31, 1916 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014. She was a daughter of the late Walter Eugene Harris, Sr. and Annie Elizabeth Harrison Harris. Bill lived most of her life in Andover, MA before retiring to her home town.

Surviving are her brother, Archibald Harris; nephew, Walter Harris, III; nieces, Margaret Catledge, Melba Ann Davis, Elizabeth Reid and Sharon Harris as well as 16 other nieces and nephews and sister-in-law, Adrianna Harris. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years, Gusta Larson; brothers, Gene Harris, Walter Harris, Jr. and sisters, Melba Corley and Bessie Davis.

The family would like to thank Jamie Kirkland as a valued friend and caregiver. Memorials may be made to St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 1416 Broad River Road, Columbia, SC 29210. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
