Emily M. Cummings

LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Emily Margaret Bryson Cummings, 41, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to, Li Fraumeni Syndrome Association, Caring House in Durham, NC, Leiomyosarcoma Direct Research Fund or Ronald McDonald House

Mrs. Cummings was born July 2, 1975 in West Columbia and passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017. She was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church. She graduated from Dreher High School and MUSC. She loved being a mother, helping others through selfless service. She was a follower of Christ in how she lived her life. She helped bring life into this world as a RN at Lexington Medical Center in the mother/baby unit.

Surviving are her husband, Jesse Cummings, IV; son, Allan Carter Cummings; father, Thomas A. Bryson and step-mother, Jo Reba Bryson; step-sisters, Rhonda Nesbitt and Allison Medlock; mother-in-law Fair and step-father-in-law, Robert Ariail; father-in-law, Frank Cummings, III; sisters-in-law, Courtney Birdwell and Virginia Ariail. She was preceded in death by her mother, Judith Anne Bryson and sister, Megan Bryson.
