He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Loretta Kovachi Haynes; son, Christopher Kovachi Haynes; granddaughter, Raegan Binter Haynes; brother, Richard Haynes (Karen); two sisters, Vivy Ann Bone and Sandra King; and sister-in-law, Fran Fox (Jack).
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bryan Binter Haynes.
Earl was an entrepreneur with many successful businesses. He was also a man whom friends and family could count on. He loved God, his family, his country, and all things Gamecock.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home – Lexington Chapel, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072. Following the service, please join the family at the funeral home for food and fellowship. A private burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to “Snack Sack,” an outreach ministry of Lexington United Methodist Church, 309 East Main Street, Lexington, SC 29072 (https://lexumcsc.com/give/). This ministry serves snacks to children on weekends or as needed.
The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Carol and Fred Jodie for their love and care for Earl during his long illness.
