Francis "Frank" Allen Fassett

Born in Barre, Vermont, Frank was the son of the late Hayden Keith Fassett and Eleanor Friot Fassett. He spent many years as a dedicated crane operator before retiring. Above all else, Frank was a devoted family man whose greatest accomplishments were found in the love he shared with those closest to him.

Frank was married to the love of his life, Cheryl, for 53 wonderful years. Together they built a life centered on love, commitment, and family. He was a proud father to his son, Chris Fassett (Nicole), and found his greatest joy in being "Papa" to his cherished grandchildren, Christopher and Kyleigh, who brought immeasurable happiness to his life.

He is also survived by his sisters, Carol Perry of New Mexico, Patricia Chowning (Keith), and Joanne McMahan, both of South Carolina.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry, Harold, and Kendell Fassett of Illinois; Ronnie, Bruce, and Steven Fassett of South Carolina; and his sisters, Karlene Bashaw of South Carolina, Dianne Draper, and Heidi Putvain of Vermont.

Frank's legacy will live on through the many lives he touched and the memories shared by his family, friends, neighbors, and the many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will forever cherish his memory.

In accordance with Frank's wishes, a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time. Though he will be deeply missed, Frank's love and memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
