FORT MILL – Funeral services for Gene William Brown, 66, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2016 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel prior to the service.
Mr. Brown was born December 31, 1949 in Springfield, MA and passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016. He was the son of Carl Brown. He served our country in the United States Air Force as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. After retiring from the Air Force, he served as a Project Engineer with General Dynamics. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carol A. Brown; his son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Kelly Brown; granddaughters, Gillian, Alexandra, and Madison Brown; his daughter and son-in-law Jeana and John Machin; seven brothers and sisters, Carl Lee Brown, Gary Brown, Sharon Kile, Beverly Ault, Dennis Brown, Scott Brown, and Rodney Brown.
