Mr. Bellinger was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Moseley (Crow) and his beloved black lab, Miss Cocky. He is survived by his sister, Jane Wannamaker (William C.); his son, George K. “Ken” Bellinger, III (Adrienne); two grandchildren, Lillie and George, IV; three nieces, Beth Beale (John), Dawn Taylor and Melissa Lindler (Carroll) and two nephews, Howard Moseley (Gayla) and Bill Wannamaker.
Mr. Bellinger was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina, graduating from A.C. Flora High School and earning a degree from University of South Carolina. He enjoyed a long career as an accountant with the South Carolina Department of Social Services and retired from the Army Reserves. Upon retirement, Mr. Bellinger enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, watching classic Westerns, and supporting his South Carolina Gamecocks. He was a member of Providence Lutheran Church in Lexington.
